Siena Center Lecture: "Things Change"
by Kari Hamende
Mark Massa, SJ, Phd
Mark Massa, SJ, PhD

Rev. Mark Massa, SJ, PhD, dean of the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry, kicks off our series commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council with keen analysis not of the things that changed as a result of the Council, but rather with a much broader vision.

Fr. Massa argues that the Council introduced a transformational sensibility to Catholic discourse, namely historical consciousness. And this new attitude made all the difference.

He is the author of The American Catholic Revolution: How the Sixties Changed the Church Forever, and the founder of the Curran Center for American Catholic Studies at Fordham University.

DU students, faculty, and staff are free. Admission for members of the public is $10.
Time: Thursday, February 7, 7:00 PM
Location: Priory Campus, Auditorium
