by Dan Armstrong
Jane ElliottDiversity training pioneer Jane Elliott will speak on Tuesday, January 29, as part of Dominican's celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr.

The lecture will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Lund Auditorium.

Elliott devised a now famous exercise called "Blue Eyes/Brown Eyes" 30 years ago following King’s assassination that explores the problems of racism, sexism and ethnocentrism and the responsibility we all share for eliminating them from ourselves and society.

In her lecture she will discuss how prejudice and bigotry represent a class system based on arbitrary factors.
