School Librarian Information Session
by Megan A. Tideman
School Librarian Information Sessions

Are you considering a career as a teacher-librarian/library media specialist, or do you know someone who is?

The School Library Media Program at Dominican University's Graduate School of Library and Information Science will host an in-person information session on Tuesday, February 19, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Springer Suites.

During the session, prospective SLMP students will learn about the program requirements and stages, and guest speakers will share their experiences and advice. The information session also fulfills the program requirement that students have an initial advising session; this advising requirement must be met before a student can go into his/her clinical practice.

Please RSVP for this free event at slmp@dom.edu with the subject line "Info Session."

Can't make it but still interested? Send questions to the SLMP Director, Professor Don Hamerly, at dhamerly@dom.edu.

Visit the SLMP website for more information.
Time: Tuesday, February 19, 4:30 PM
Location: Rebecca Crown Library, Springer Suite
