The Brennan School of Business will present "Profits with Purpose," a lecture by Carole Parkes, co-director of social responsibility at Aston University and Dominican's 2013 Christopher Chair in Business Ethics, on Wednesday, March 20, at 6 p.m. in the Bluhm Lecture Hall, Room 108 of Parmer Hall.

Parkes is one of the world's leading authorities on corporate social responsibility and sustainability. She regularly speaks on CSR and sustainability issues for international gatherings including the including AACSB Sustainability Conference, United Nations PRME Forums in New York, and the Climate Change Conference (COP15) in Copenhagen.
In addition, she has worked with a range of community groups and has published widely in academic journals covering ethics, CSR and human resources management. She has also written on CSR for publications including the
New Statesman.
The Christopher Chair in Business Ethics is a visiting scholar position established 2002 by Doris and Jay Christopher to focus on ethical business practices.
